The year was 2007. At 11:35pm, in a dark nightclub in Newcastle, an Armenian-Lebanese-Geordie met a smiley Northerner for the very first time.

They didn’t know it then. How could they? That brief moment would turn out to matter far more than either of them realised.

Life moved on. The world spun. Years passed, and whole chapters unfolded separately. There were adventures, changes, and plenty of growing up.

Then, when the timing finally made sense, they found their way back to each other.

Reconnected by algorithms, perhaps, but what followed felt far more natural than that. From the very first conversation, it was easy. Familiar. Within a year, they had bridged the gap of time with stories, shared memories, future plans, and a lot of laughter.

A mutual love of family, friends, adventure, excellent food, diving into the deep end, climbing high, skiing fast, and of course Max, brought them closer with surprising speed.

One year after reconnecting, eighteen years after that night out, they both arrived at the same conclusion. This was it.

The settings might be dramatic: a proposal on the side of a cliff in Morocco; a wedding on a remote island cut off by the tide. A life filled with movement and adventure.

But at the heart of it all, one thing has been constant. Certainty.
